JoMo tracking!
I loved our holiday in the Lake District (and Eden Valley, and the Pennines, and Scotland....)! We stayed in a cottage next to some ponies in a field. I fed one a carrot. We also went on TRAINS!!! We went on a steam train twice and a narrow gauge train pulled by a diesel engine once. The diesel was supposed to be a steam one, but I told MaMa and DaDa that morning that we were going to ride a diesel train. They tried to correct me, but when we got there, I was right! Boy, were they surprised! They are scratching their heads about that one.
I love to pretend to be a train engine. I call it 'tracking'. I learned from the engineer of the huge steam engine that the big sticks that connect the engine to the wheels are called 'connecting rods.' I use my arms like connecting rods and go faster and faster. Here is a very short video of me 'tracking.' I do it for quite some time, but that would be a big video, Mommy said. I'm riding on the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway steam train that leaves from the shores of Lake Windermere. (Click on the link to see more about the railway.) The engine is ENORMOUS!!! And it made lots of steam, which I like to tell people is actually 'water vapor.' We rode in old carriages that were really amazing. I learned a lot on this trip.
Choo Choo! Chugga chugga! Track track! Track track!
