Working on my room
I like helping Daddy out around the house. I have my own toolkit, a Christmas present from my friend Millie. I had a lot of fun when Gerry was here working on my room. I decided I could help, too. Here I am, just before Gerry started work on it, trying to do some DIY in the old study to get it ready for Gerry to transform it into my room!
Notice in the video how I pronounce the word 'ladder.' Apparently, I say most words in a very British way, unlike my colonial parents. MaMa and DaDa say 'bedder' instead of 'better', 'swedder' instead of 'sweater', 'ledder' instead of 'letter'. So somehow I assumed that when they say 'ladder,' it should really properly be pronounced 'latter'! Notice how DaDa copies my pronunciation. I have a lot to teach them! One of these days, they'll learn how to talk right! I recently asked DaDa, 'Are you not feeling better now?' (he hadn't been feeling too well). At dinner I asked him, 'And how was your day?' He was right chuffed, as the locals would say.
This video was taken a few weeks ago, before my recent second haircut! What you see here is how much my hair had grown since December!
