Lions and Jaguars and Red Panda Bears--Oh My!
On Saturday we went to the Cotswold Wildlife Park. Click on the link to see pictures of the animals we saw. The photos we took are all on DaDa's computer and I have to ask him to post them on the blog, but he's at work now. So check back again soon and hopefully DaDa will have enhanced this blog entry with pictures of me hanging out with the animals!
We had lots of fun! We had a picnic on a huge lawn next to some animals with two humps on their back! I surprised MaMa and DaDa by pointing at them and saying "Camel!!!" I really enjoyed our picnic. I thought it was lots of fun to sit on the ground to eat! And I got to eat "pips" [JoMospeak for chips, i.e. in this case Pringles...] Oh, and honey sandwiches and strawberries and cucumber and yoghurt and lots of other stuff.
We got to see penguins and marmosets and mongooses and meerkats and owls and monkeys and a rhino and wolves and lots of ducks and ducklings and peacocks and red panda bears and jaguars and a lion and lioness (the lion roared a lot before lying down for a nap). And lots of other animals. And beautiful flowers.
Overhead airplanes roared too, as there was a big airshow at RAF Fairford that weekend. It's funny because as we were driving to the zoo, I said, "Airport! Airplanes!" And MaMa explained that we weren't going to the airport, we were going to the Wildlife Park. And I cried because I wanted to see airplanes. Well, I got my wish! I got to watch airplanes AND see animals. How great is that?!
