Organ Practice

When we visited GaGa and PaPa at Christmas, we went to GaGa's church. The very nice organist gave me a lesson after the service. Some people noticed that the music sounded a bit different, but nobody minded. Even the pastor smiled!

Of course, I had already had a couple of piano lessons from GaGa, so that no doubt helped. When I was 4 1/2 months old, she was showing me how to play the keys, and she told me "Curve your fingers"--and I did! That really surprised her! I also have had fun playing "duets" with my buddy Joel! He's a little bit older than me [12] and he plays piano really well--not as well as GaGa though. I also have a little keyboard/xylophone that I love to play.

Christmas wasn't the only time I've gotten to play the organ, though. I also got to play at Easter, but this time not at church. I got to play the organ for some dear family friends, Mr. and Mrs. Washington, who invited us for Easter brunch. There was an organ in the room where we were chatting after the meal. I couldn't wait to play it! I had to beg a bit, and they wouldn't turn the volume up very high, but I think everyone enjoyed the concert.

As you can see by my blurry hands, I was playing a very fast piece of music! Allegro, Capriccio, Presto!
