As you know, MaMa and I have been shopping for a helmet. Well, we finally found one that fit and wasn't too girlie or babyish, and where I didn't scream when she put it on me to try on . . . . It does have a
slightly bizarre pattern that has bunnies and other animals "mining" carrots out of the ground. But at least it's mostly blue and fits great and looks pretty cool (from a distance). [
I know the chinstrap is too loose--I didn't have a lot of time to fiddle with it before we set out today!]
Here I am wearing my HELMET on my BIKE on the bridge over the canal with the DUCKS near OUR HOUSE, on the way to the PARK! (MaMa will now type in big letters the words that I can say.) In the background you can see our "local"--the Anchor pub. [
"Local" is the British term for the neighborhood pub.] To the right of the pub is the street we live on. To the left of the pub is a little CAR repair place and to the left of that is a little shop and delicatessen with really nice people in it. It has a CEILING fan, so I really like going there and talking them into turning it ON so I can watch it GO ROUND ROUND!

When we got to the park, I enjoyed the SWING for awhile, but then I had a great time going on the SLIDE. . . AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN! I can climb up the STAIR all by myself now, although I do ask MaMa for HELP, as I still get a little nervous. [
This picture is worth enlarging for the look of concentration on his face!] I did tumble off it once today and had an UH OH and bit my tongue and cried a little bit, but then after a HUG from MaMa, I went back up the ladder AGAIN!

After getting to the top, I have to turn and climb up onto a platform before getting into position to SLIDE DOWN! It's so much fun! I must have done this twenty or thirty times today, before saying BYE BYE to everyone and going HOME to OUR HOUSE!

Here I go . . . .
WHEEEEEE!!!!!

This young man really knows how to hold his mouth for maximum thrust on the slide! He is supposed to pull it back in just before he reaches the bottom, though! Grandma
Hi Grandma Shirley!
What's funny is I rarely stick out my tongue, but MaMa caught me with my tongue out a couple of times here!
Thanks for writing! Love you!
