My Half Birthday

May 22nd was my half birthday. Specifically, my one and a half birthday! Whenever anyone says "Birthday," I say "Cake! Can-can! [candles] Pffff! All gone!" Well, I got to do that on my half birthday, too! MaMa says she always wanted to celebrate her half birthdays--I guess because it was about the same time as Uncle Bill's birthday and she felt left out.

So on May 22nd, we had a little celebration. I even got two presents, because MaMa and DaDa couldn't wait until my second birthday! We ate outside in the garden and Mark and Andy, who live upstairs, joined us.

Here is a picture of me and my half birthday cake--it was only one layer! It actually was a brownie covered with marzipan icing and Winnie the Pooh characters in sugar. Notice the one and a half candles....
