My First Bike!
I got a bike this week! I'm so excited. It's new to me, but MaMa got it from another family. [Only 5 pounds/$10!] It has a place to carry things in the back that looks like it could hold a hay bale. And it has a little horn (here I am pictured squeezing it). MaMa and DaDa call it a trike, but I call it a "bike."I keep reminding MaMa that I need a "helmet" for it. I used to say "hat" whenever I saw someone going by on a
We went shopping for a helmet today, but didn't find any. Well, we found one that fit, but it was yellow and covered with baby chicks, and MaMa thought that was pretty naff [click to see definition] and babyish. There was another one covered with airplanes and helicopters, which would have been perfect, but it was too small--believe it or not!
I can't quite push the pedals yet as my legs aren't long enough. But I'm learning to steer with the handles as MaMa or DaDa push it. I like pushing it around, too, when I'm not sitting in it! There's a "parent handle" that MaMa or DaDa lowers all the way down for me to push it around. It's a bit hard, though, to steer it that way!
Yesterday I went to the local playground on my bike. After we were there awhile, DaDa said it was time to go home. I can say "home" and "house" and make the sign for home. But yesterday I learned to say "OUR house!" So all the way home, I kept saying "our house!"

GaGa wants you to know that her reading matter is now the Bible,
Oswald Chambers, Selwyn Hughes, Billy Graham, and JoMo's Blog. I can't
wait for the next installment: Does JoMo get the chick helmet?

Hey Jomo - not seen you since you were a tiny babe in your mothers arms dude... did you know that you cheered me up no end one day in St Aldates when I was feeling really down? I took one look at you peacful and sleeping on your MaMas shoulder and I burst into tears! I thought you were so beautiful and you made my day! Reminded me of how good God is!!!
Its wonderful to see you growing up so handsomely and very clever with it...
Hopefully I will get to see you and your mum and dad very soon, and then I might be able to introduce to you the man I intend to swap "I love you" rings with!!
Lots of love kiddo
Susie xxx
PS: nobody calls me susie anymore but you and your mummy can still call me it if you like!!! Special priveleges for special people! xxx
