Tar!
I am trying to sing more and more. I can get out a bit of the ABC song, but mostly I just sing "C, D, E!" I like listening to my Alphabet Pal Caterpillar from Aunt Mel (mine's orange, while the one on the website is purple). I can do some of Eensy Weensy Spider and Wind the Bobbin Up and a few others.
On other topics: I am working on learning my colo(u)rs, but so far, everything is "Blue!" Dad thinks that's just fine with him. Blue is his favo(u)rite colo(u)r! Whenever I see a number [or sometimes a letter....], I say either "2" or "6"! MaMa tries to tell me that there are a few more colo(u)rs and numbers than that, but that I'll learn them at some point. I'm getting better at saying people's names. In addition to Ca-Ca for Caroline and MiMi for Millie, I can almost say "Ellie" (Millie's sister) and say "Doot!" for her brother Joel, because he is a real cool dude! I also can say "Jacks!" for my Auntie Jacqui (or sometimes "Auntie Jack!") and said "Nina" (and "cake" and "pfff" for blowing out candles) when we called to wish my cousin Nina a happy birthday! Today, MaMa was putting some clothes on me and said, "These are from your cousin David" and I said his name (or close to it). The only name I haven't really figured out yet is my own! But sometimes I say "Elmo" because I had some nappies [diapers bought in the US] that had Elmo on them. I have never seen Elmo except on those nappies. [I haven't seen "Sesame Street" here on the television.]
My last pox got a scab on it today, so my quarantine can end! Yay! I really miss going to the park and seeing my friends!
Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PaPa! I tried singing Happy Birthday to him on the phone, but all I could get out was "To To To!" for the "To You" part. But I mimed blowing out candles and said "all gone!" for him. (When you blow out candles, then the flame is all gone, isn't it?)
