ChooChoo, KickKick, RoundRound, Clock!!

I had a really big adventure last week!! On Thursday I went to a big city called London. MaMa says I was there before a few times but don't really remember it too well. MaMa and I went with Caroline my babysitter and Millie my best friend and Millie's big brother and sister, Joel and Ellie. And, we got to go on a TRAIN! My first real train trip.


And we went on something called the Tube, which is a train that goes under the city. It was all very exciting.






Finally we came up out of the Tube and we went along a big river called the Thames. I took one look at it and said, "KickKick!" with awe and reverence in my voice. That's the word I use to talk about swimming, and I was trying to imagine swimming in that really big body of water! Then I looked up and next to the river was an ENORMOUS wheel and I shouted "RoundRound!!" (Here is the RoundRound and next to it is the Aquarium.)






Then we went back up along the street and MaMa pointed up and there was a really tall "Clock!!" They said its name was Big Ben, which is confusing because sometimes that's what MaMa and DaDa call me when I wake up a lot at night.








We crossed over a bridge and went to McDonald's for lunch before going to the London Aquarium. Lots of fish and sharks and rays going KickKick in big pools of water. I had never seen anything like it! Here I am looking at the sharks with Millie and some rainforest fish with MaMa. It was all so exciting that when we left, I fell asleep! I was exhausted from so many new experiences.



But I woke back up in time to enjoy a bit of Paddington train station and a visit to Krispy Kreme donuts and the Paddington Bear kiosk before getting back on the train to Oxford and entertaining a group of fellow travelers. I shared my book with them and had a look through their magazine and had a very enjoyable conversation.

We came home and took some dinner to friends who just had a very cute little baby, so it ended up being a very long day. But lots of fun! ChooChoo! KickKick! RoundRound! Clock! . . . . COT!!!!
