Tea for Three!

Last night MaMa went shopping for a birthday present for my friend Millie. But she also brought home something for me! Lately I've become really interested in teapots. I love to say "Pa-Pot!" So MaMa got me my very own teapot! It came with four mugs. I guess she was worried that I would figure out how to climb up the cupboard shelves to play with their nice teapot (shown here on the right). It has dragonflies on it, which I identify by making the sign for airplane. They look sort of like bi-planes, don't they? And they fly!

Anyway, I was so excited with my present! I kept saying "Pa-Pot!" all evening and when I got up this morning I went straight to it. I wanted to take it to church with us this morning. But MaMa promised we would have tea this afternoon. And we did! When I woke up from my nap, MaMa took me in the kitchen and we sat around the table while they made some tea [very weak tepid herbal tea] in my teapot! Then DaDa poured it into our cups and we said "Cheers!" and drank our tea. MaMa got me a biscuit [cookie] to have with it. We had so much fun!! [Unfortunately, the camera focus was set on manual rather than automatic and the photographer didn't realize this, so we had "tea" again after dinner--this time some nice weak rooibos tea, with a bit of nice apple cake for dessert! JoMo didn't mind having tea twice in one day!]
