Under the weather

I've not been too well the past few days. I keep coughing and my nose keeps running and I keep telling Mommy that I am "hot!" Mommy is always rubbing something over my nose, so I have learned the word "tissue." I've also started saying "Choo-Choo" for train and tried to say pizza because we had it a couple of times this weekend (Mommy and Daddy were both ill, so noone felt like cooking, I guess....). I like pizza!!! Tonight though I felt really crummy and was coughing so badly and was so hot and shivery that Mommy and Daddy took me in my pajamas after my bath to the after-hours doctor. He put me on yet another medicine, this one called erythromycin. I hope it makes me feel better soon, but it sure tastes yucky! Mommy and Daddy are both taking something similar to make their lungs feel better, so we are all in the same boat, it seems. You probably don't want to visit us anytime soon!

I got another Valentine today in the post, this one from a secret admirer who scribbled on it beautifully! It has Winnie the Pooh on the front. Hmmm.... who could have sent this??

Sorry you are all sick. We are, too (why I'm up in the middle of the night on the computer--too uncomfortable to sleep).

I hope JoMo does OK with the erythro; it can cause lots of nausea. I can't take it at all without vomiting.

Well, Mommy and/or Daddy tries to give it to me, but I spit it all back out. It tastes really yucky. I wish they could invent a better-tasting option! Hope you all feel better soon, too.

May love and laughter light your days and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours, wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons bring the best to you and yours.
