More on being 14 months old
I learned a lot of new words this week. Or maybe I should say Mommy and Daddy are finally understanding me!
Now I can say: car, cup (cuk), helicopter (copcop or helica or ... roundround), cold, hot, hat (word and sign), toes, teeth, shoes, cheese (chee), park (I say "Cark!" and Mommy knows I want to go to our local playground!), biscuit (i.e. cookie--well, whatever I said was close enough that Mommy understood what I wanted!), and "No thank you" when turning down some food. Today I said something that sounded like "Oh Dear!" but normally I just say "Uh-oh" when something unexpected happens.
I can understand and sign or act out or otherwise communicate about: moon, mouth, fingers, hair, bib, hug, kiss, bounce, dance, shake (I've known some of these for a LONG time! Mommy just forgot to type them last week), slide (I straighten my legs like I'm going down the slide!), airplane/aeroplane--well for the last one today I started putting my hand up in the air and make a sound like take-off.....!
It's so nice to be understood, isn't it??
Here are pictures of me taken at Milletts Farm about ten days ago. I had fun talking to a mini-goat . . .
. . . .and going down the slide!
