14 Months Old!
Life is getting more fun by the minute!

This morning, Daddy picked me up from my cot [crib] and took me over to the window looking on the back garden [yard]. There was white stuff everywhere--on the ground, on the brickwall, on the roof tiles. I touched the window and said "Hot!" Mommy and Daddy laughed and said, "No--Cold! It's snow!" Sometimes I get Hot and Cold mixed up. I can say both now. I said "Cold!" yesterday for the first time when we went for my swimming lesson and Mommy stood me on the floor of the changing room in my barefeet. That WAS cold! And this morning, Daddy took my hand and stuck it in the white stuff and now I think I have "cold" figured out. I kept saying it to Mommy and looking at my hand. She put mittens on.

Anyway, Daddy put together my sledge [sled] and Mommy put me in long red one-piece thermal underwear and some other clothes and then tried on several snowsuits (don't ask) that she had on hand. Finally, I was ready and they put me on the sled(ge) and pulled it around on the lingering remains of the snow. I kept saying "Round Round! Round Round!" as we went in large circles around the concrete planter urn in the back of the house. Daddy and Mommy wanted to take me further afield, but the snow was disappearing rapidly, so they figured it would be gone by the time we got anywhere.
It was a lot of fun!! I look like I'm a bit dazed but then, it was the first time I went sledding!
